The tribe at Carytown Bikes in Richmond helped me design a custom gravel/adventure bike that accelerates quick (shorter chainstays), is nimble (tighter wheelbase) but is also stable (lower bb). The ride is fantastic aided by a handbuilt wheelset (HED Belgium+ rims with Industry Nine Torch CX hubs), supple Hutchinson Sector tubeless tires and a Whiskey #7 fork (painted). I’ve used a mixture of Sram components and of course a Chris King headset. TRP Spyre disc brakes, Thompson stem and KFC bar and Fizik Aliante saddle atop a matching Moots seatpost round out the build. An incredibly versatile bike capable of a fast group road ride or gravel adventure and in my eyes, beautiful as the welds and finish are incredible. Lastly, knowing that it was built here in the USA by the good folks on my enclosed yellow production card make it all the more special!
