After completing three weeks of Bike School at United Bicycle Institute in Ashland, Oregon, I rode my Moots Vamoots, which was tricked out with Sram Force Shifters, SRAM compact drive and an SRAM XX rear derailleur with an 11-36 cassette down highway 99, 199, and highway 101. Being from Arkansas, I had never seen the giant redwood trees or the Pacific ocean. What an adventure as I didn’t realize the climbing involved and how trecherous some sections were going down the mountain and how awe inspiring climbing out of Crescent City through the redwoods would be. My moots road bike, Jugee, never let me down. She is back to being a regular road bike now and she is the rope that I hang on to to get me through the good and bad times.
