Several months back my cousin and I were headed home from his shoulder surgery and talking about how we were going to start training once his shoulder healed up. We had the idea of cross training for The Texas Water Safari by mountain biking. I did not have a mountain bike but he had purchased a YBB 26″ some years back and he let me borrow it while he was doing shoulder rehab. Well one thing led to another and in his true selfless form he wanted to re build the bike for me (COMPLETELY). I was in aww!!!! But, we realized the bike did not fit me because it was a little taller than i could ride. Well to further my shock he told me that we were going to build a new one and I could pick whatever i wanted. Well, his introducing me to Moots was all it took for me to know that I wanted nothing else but a Moots! Two months later, a healed shoulder and a lot of anxious waiting and we both have our Moots YBB’s. I love the bike and the character it has. I had the frame decals etched and also got his initials and my last name put on the bike. One of the most special gifts I have ever been given because of who it came from and the amazing craftsmanship and artwork you all at Moots put into it. Thanks, Jake.
