We have teamed up with Justin Balog and Remi McManus to provide a couple of special BAXTER builds to help them pursue thier quest to ride a north to south route through Iceland to establish the first TRANS-ICELANDIC route by bicycle. They will travel form the northern most town of RAUFARHOFN to Iceland’s southern most point, the BLACK SANDS OF VIK.
The BAXTER drawing shows the inner line of the front triangle to make sure bags will clear and work nicely with the frame.
The route they are riding requires a bike that can perform as a mountain bike yet still have some gravel road and pavement manners. Enter the BAXTER. A frame tough enough and stiff enough to handle a pretty large load as they will be carrying not only all of their camp gear but camera gear as well. Video, stills and even a small drone packed along with them to document the journey.

Once finished they will be producing and showing a film about what they encounter and how the bikes performed. We’ll be working with them to host a number of showings coming in 2019.
