GENERAL CONSIDERATION
About the Role
Moots Cycles is seeking a hands-on, highly organized Marketing Coordinator & Brand Field Specialist to support the day-to-day execution of marketing initiatives—both in-house and out in the world. This role is part project wrangler, part social content scout, and part event support lead. You’ll be helping keep key marketing efforts moving, while also being our eyes, ears, and camera out in the field—capturing the real, gritty, and genuine energy of Moots life and culture.
This is a ground-floor opportunity for someone ready to roll up their sleeves, help tell our story in an authentic way, and ride alongside a team driven to grow Moots’ direct-to-consumer presence while staying true to our roots.
What You’ll Do
Project & Marketing Coordination
- Support ongoing marketing projects, from SEO tasks to Shopify content cleanup to coordinating brand kits and playbooks
- Act as a go-to point person for keeping projects moving—ensuring timelines are tracked, details aren’t missed, and priorities stay aligned
- Work closely with the Director of Marketing to follow up on inbound project needs (press requests, brand partnerships, events)
Social & Content Support
- Curate weekly behind-the-scenes content from inside the factory—snapping photos of real people doing real things (welding, riding, cooking, building, laughing, living the brand)
- Manage a light social posting calendar and coordinate with content creators and community managers
- Answer social inquiries or comments that require follow-up by checking in with staff and relaying accurate, helpful responses
Field & Event Marketing
- Support on-site execution at events like Ranch Rally, SBT GRVL, and dealer activations
- Help set up tents, manage product displays, coordinate demo experiences, and be a knowledgeable and warm brand presence
- Document field moments with photography and notes that can be used in post-event recaps or social content
Brand Experience & Tour Curation
- Assist with factory tours—ensuring they’re welcoming, informative, and aligned with the Moots brand experience
- Coordinate logistics, prep rooms, offer refreshments, and keep the schedule on track
- Capture photo moments during tours and engage with guests to help them feel part of the Moots story
Who You Are
- You’re organized, resourceful, and take pride in making things run smoothly
- You’re a solid communicator who knows how to follow up, follow through, and follow the vibe
- You have an eye for content and a natural instinct for what moments help tell a brand story
- You’re comfortable behind a camera (iPhone or DSLR), know what looks good, and are willing to learn if needed
- You love bikes, ideally ride yourself, and can talk confidently (and enthusiastically) about the Moots difference
- You’re down to help in the tent, be in the van, or throw some burgers on the grill at a factory lunch
Skills & Qualifications
- 1–3 years’ experience in marketing coordination, social content, or event support
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and digital content platforms (Shopify, Instagram, etc.)
- Comfort with fieldwork and flexible hours during events or on-the-ground activations
- Basic photography skills and ability to organize and upload photo libraries
- Strong sense of ownership—someone who jumps in and gets things done
- Must be willing to travel and lift 50+ lbs during event setup
Bonus Points For
- Experience working with lifestyle, outdoor, or cycling brands
- Shopify or ecommerce platform know-how
- Graphic design or video editing skills
- Wrenching skills? Even better.
