Ladies first! Katie Clouse took top honors in the women’s PRO/Open field at the “Bowl of Death”.
This past weekend the weather gods finally put down some much needed moisture on the
Colorado front range, which let us play in the mud and snow a bit. The venue was the Louisville Rec Center just outside of Boulder, CO. Â Known as the “Bowl of Death” this venue has it all….elevation changes, cambers, sand and then add in the snow from Thursday and it doesn’t get much better…..cyclocross game on!
Gage Hecht took yet another win in the series AND the overall. Â He missed two of the races, which made his overall that much more impressive. Â He heads to Europe in December for a huge block of racing, then will return to Europe for Worlds in the U23 catagory.
While we were in Colorado rallying through the mud, Brannon Fix was doing the same at the LACX UCI weekend. Â He took an outstanding 2nd in the U23 men’s on Sunday.
Getting it done in the 40+ MM Open. Â Yours truly loves the mud! Â My Psychlo X RSL ran flawlessly and I was able to nab 3rd in a stacked field.
Gage pilots his Psychlo X RSL to a win with a massive gap to second.
