Way back in the early part of 2016 our friends at Chris King approached us to be one of just a handful of builders to build a bike in celebration of their 40th Anniversary. Â Our time slot would be November, so we thought of doing a Cyclocross build…..
the right bike for the time of year….As early 2016 rolled on we had a new model that would be launched at Eurobike called the Baxter. Â From the response we received from that show to Interbike we new our Chris King build would change to feature this much loved new model.
Last week the Baxter/Chris King 40th hit Instagram (click to view) and this coming weekend it will be featured with the other builds during a party CK is hosting around Single Speed Cyclocross World Championships in Portland. What could be better?
We had the seat post side plates and seat collar anodized in the same batch as the 40th bits from King.
