Well, the clean up is done, the signs put away, yet the buzzing feeling of the 4th Moots-Colorado Ranch Rally is still present here at Moots.
If small frame builders do one thing really well, it’s build stunning show pieces that grab loads of attention on the showroom floor and social media outlets. Concept bikes, one-offs and some to be never ridden (gasp/sigh).

The week has come and gone and after last weekend I started thinking about how as cyclists there are phases of riding this that and the other…..road bikes, mountain bikes, cyclocross and now gravel bikes. We’ve been here before as riders….we love to ride no matter what the industry or marketing people might call that riding….
Andrew Carney one of the longest standing GrassMoots riders we have and this year he is tackling The Tour Divide. The challenges of that alone will make most weak in the knees, try living in Summit County, Colorado on top of that…….he writes in with an update…….
Towards the end of Fly Gulch is a cow pond that is home to the “other” Northwest Colorado gator. Mr. Moots loves to visit this spot….you know….”family time”. We’ve just past under 8 weeks to go until we host our 4th Annual Moots-Colorado Ranch Rally! The event is just about sold out, if you hurry you may still be able to get in.

After a long day in the saddle Nick is greated by his family. Nick Stillwell is a member of our GrassMoots Team and writes in this week about his 4th Vision Quest bike event that covered 56.5 miles and climbed 11,000 feet! He writes……. Participated in my 4th Vision Quest this weekend here in So Cal and boy I’m glad that’s out of the way…that is one tough event!
Moots has signed on as a TITANIUM level sponsor for the 2017 Jensie Gran Fondo of Marin. We will be on site during the event, riding the event and offering VIP riders demo bikes for the weekend. Join us during this classic ride in early October.
