To all my fellow Aussie Moots owners and to everyone else who loves the best bikes in the world, pics of my MootoX are finally up for your veiwing at the Cycling Edge blog spot. I'm no photographer, but hopefully you get the idea of the build.

There are also a couple of other posts, including Pauls beautiful Psychlo and the guys bikes down at the You Yangs.

    Enjoy them all.

Hi Guys just wondering when your next ride might be? I think someone mentioned September? Mid September should work well for me, either of the weekends of 15/16 or 22/23 are doable at the moment.
Road or MTB are good for me.(I should have the MXRSL together by then??)
Anybody else up for a ride.
    Cheers

    G'day Craig,

I'm game for mid September...by that time, Wombat State forest should have dried up a bit (or is that just wishful thinking?).

I'll flick Tim an e-mail and find out he is about in mid September too.

Mid September is good for me too. I can do either weekend at the moment.

Great pics of the Divide Rob (I assume it's yours). Cant wait to see it in the flesh.

    Hi Folks,

Work is going bonkers for me in Sept .... having said that, 15+16 are free! So I'll be there, just name a place + time.

Rob's new bike looks awesome (his other one is pretty awesome too!). You've gotta be happy with that, no doubt your out riding everywhere on it.

How are you finding the transition to squish ?

    Hi Guys,

I'm happy to go anywhere on the weekend of the 15-16th...saying that I've not been to the Youies since Tim and I were there last so that could be a goer?

Very happy with the MX Divide...been a long time since I've used a bike with squish and combined with the big wheels its quite a revelation!

So shall we lock in a day on the weekend of 15/16 Sept?
You Yangs or Wombat are fine with me. Although I would think the You Yangs would be drier?
    Who wants to call it?
Got the MXRSL put together finally too. Woo hoo!

I was out on the bike on the edge of the wombat on saturday and it was dry enough I reckon? But the Youies is always a safe bet.

15/16 it is then. Decision made on that one! And I'm with Craig that the Youies would be a bit drier.

So, how does Sunday 16th Sept at the Youies sound? Meet at 9am?
BTW got out for my first spin on the MXRSL yesterday...2hrs of Yarra trails, beautifull weather, couldn't have been better. Very happy with the bike!

Sunday 16th sounds good to me. I'm in. Which car park do you want to meet at?

How many car parks are there?
I've never ridden there before so I'll let someone else decide that one. Is that time Ok?
I'd be happy to even meet a bit earlier if that suits.( Gotta keep the Hugs and Kisses happy).
    Looking forward to it.

    16th @ Youies it is!

9am sounds civilized to me. The park opens at 8am if your really keen, but that may mean starting before day light for some.

Parking at the Rangers office is handy, but limited space.

There's a good picnic area off Big Rock Rd, with toilets & pump track & BBQ facilities. Usually plenty of parking here and its right in the Kurrajong area which makes a great warm up.

I haven't been in riding for weeks. I better go check what condition the bike is in! :)

G'day...I'm an apology for tomorrow at the You Yangs...work related matters have conspired against me so I'm going to ride locally. Hope to see you next time.

Sorry boys, but I'm a no-show too. Managed to give my stil sore, ut healing arm a bit of a wrench at work yesterday, trying to remove a rusty/seized old bottom bracket. Thought I was going to be OK, but went for a short off road ride this arvo and it hurts like hell. Just muscular I reckon, but no way am I going to be able to hit the trails. To say I am p#ssed off is an understatement. So I'm going to tr and heal up, get some physio this week and head down to the Youies next sunday with the BSCC social ride. If you are about, maybe we can hook up? Sorry to do this last minute, but it just aint gonna happen....
