My long-awaited MX Divide arrived yesterday. Built it immediately and went for a very short ride- and it took me just a few short pedal strokes to be totally stoked. The ride quality is amazing, and the suspension is smooth without being overly active. It'll take me a few more rides to get the suspension all dialed in, but even without using the ProPedal on it was active without feeling bouncy.
I'm running it with a standard 135 mm qr rear wheel and was very impressed with the overall stiffness- even jumping out of the saddle on steep inclines it felt very solid underfoot.
I'd summarize the ride as stable, smooth, predictable and composed. It's not flickable, playful or high-strung. Pretty much it'll be perfect for long rides and races. The ti front end adds an amazing, subtle damping feel that keeps you aware of what you're riding over unlike any other full suspension bike I've ever ridden.
