I've been riding an Orbea Orca for the past few years. After 2 frame failures (nothing catastrophic), I'm thinking of selling the new warranty frame and going with a vamoots CR. I'm 56, race some, ride hard and often, and weigh 125 lbs. Any thoughts about what I should expect if I make the switch? Thanks.

MemberI just sold my Orbea Orca 60cm to obtain a new Vamoots 60cm frame. I have been ridng it non-stop for 2 weeks now. I have a Cervelo R5, but wanted a frameset for fall/winter here in Victoria, BC. I do find the need to lean more forward over the handlebars when standing and sprinting up hills on the Moots than my Orca. I am 50 now, and it would be my first choice on most rides. I do find it more enjoyable on my longer rides. My purchase decision was simply because I have always wanted one, I train and race two Ridley cyclocross bikes and i didn't need more carbon. Good luck on your decision.

Many thanks for the new order! We love to hear more folks coming from carbon to titanium. Your new Moots will be at the factory only once!!! When it's being built.
