What's up with this project? I'm tired of watching Jon's interview showing off the prototype. :) Let's see the real thing!! Jon, can you update us on the headtube width? Also, what chainring setup did you have on the prototype bike that you were showing?

The Psychlo X RSL is coming along nicely. We will have a photo of a complete bike shortly. For now here is the first production frame to be welded: http://twitpic.com/5sic8p
The features:
44mm inset head tube
Super shaped top tube
Press Fit BB 30
Double butted main frame
shaped and tapered chainstays
tapered seat stays
30.9 post....On the prototype I am running a 42t front single ring with a 12-25 10 speed cassette ....
More to come....it's gonna rip!

As for the guide....it is an FSA (Full Speed Ahead) guide inside & outside position. Works pretty good....

Yes, the New Moots Cross fork will be compatible with the regular Psychlo-X frame. It will be going on new frames only, until we have enough stock to sell aftermarket. This fork will be able to go onto older Psychlo X frames as well. Standard 395mm axle to crown & 47mm offset on this baby. Wow!! That is a seriously nice looking CX rig. Love to hear some details/rationale for the head tube, top tube and BB changes. Are the tubes larger as in the Vamoots RSL? Just getting my "regular" Psychlo-X out for CX training rides and loving it as well. Smart call on increasing tire clearance on this frame as well as the MTB offerings for next year. Keep up the good work as we save the $$ for the RSLs. I was all set on the Vamoots RSL, but the new CX rig is the dog's nuts!!!! Decisions, decisions...

MemberI saw the new RSL cross rig out at the factory yesterday. Looks fast and the new fork is a perfect complement5. Saw most of the rest of the new steeds for next year as well and let's just say as impressive as the new cross frame looks(and is) . There are other things brewing out at Moots that might steal the new RSL's thunder. Stay tuned for the show!

Yep, I am following the thread here. I was, frankly, shocked when I saw that bike. I totally get what you were saying about stealing the thunder from the new CX rig. First thing that came to mind was, "Ouch, this is going to hurt my wallet!" Very impressed with the design and looks. I was thinking about a full suspension bike for next year and Turner was at the top of the list...until I saw the MX Divide. Dumb question- is this a 29er or 26er?
