Hi everyone. I apologize for asking another stupid question. I'm a newbie at building bikes. So here goes......
Would a 120mm fork (or adjustable 95-120mm Fox Talas 29) work on an MX Divide. I know it's built for 100mm forks. But would that extra 20mm really screw things up? I've read recently from Dirtrag Magazine online that going over logs "takes a bit of muscle".

I thought that in addition to a more plush ride over rough terrain, a 120mm fork would help get over obstacles better. I know some 29ers (for example, the Rocky Mountain Element that comes in either 100mm or 120mm). I'll be using this bike as mostly mountain as the trails here in Hong Kong are not very long and are very rocky. (with lots of stairs)
Thanks for your thoughts and sorry again for the silly questions and my apparent lack of knowledge of how to set up a bike.
Cheers!
