In the process of ordering a 60cm Vamoots or Vamoots CR. I have an Alpha Q GS40 with 44mm rake, which I would like to use. The fork rake specs show 45mm for Vamoots and 40mm for Vamoots CR. Would my Alpha 44mm effectively work on both frames. Thanks.

Member40mm vs 45mm is a huge effect on the handling,,each geometry size has its own specific fork rake ,,I suggest just get the standard vamoots,first you can use your existing fork,second you'll have a more classic look confortable yet all rounder frame..m2c..

The 44mm you have would work on a new Vamoots in the 60cm size. It would not work if you went the route of the CR. The two frames are built with different geometry for a differnt ride from frame to frame. If you went the route of the CR, you would want to get a new fork to better match the head angle and intended handling goals.Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks Cento1 for your picture, as it helped on my choice. 60cm Vamoots ordered today which Moots can ship as they had one already sitting in the factory. How did they know to pre-build this for me in advance...amazing!
