Not sure my Nobby Nic 29x2.25 has enough clearance on the "2011" MootoX YBB. What are you guys running for a rear tire?

I'm running a 2.1 Maxxis Aspen
I tried a Racing Ralph 2.25 in the rear and it fit, but almost zero clearance. I'm now running a Hutchinson Python 2.1 and I'm very happy with it.

I've been running Maxxis Ikon EXO's and absolutely love them. They're 2.2's, have huge volume, and go head to head with the Racing Ralph's (RaRa's). My RaRa's lasted about two months and my Ikons are showing little if any wear and are looking really great after about 8 months of hard riding and racing. I'm pretty shocked actually but I'm told it's because of the 3C compond. A lot of people complain about the price but if you look around you can find them for about $50. Set up tubeless easily on my Stans Crests.
I'm a fan of the 2.1 Bonty XDX, though I think they are done making it. I have a Bonty 29.2 (2.1) on there now that is doing OK...not as high on volume as the XDX was, nor do I think it will be as tough. I ran the 29-3 rear tire when I first go the bike...very fast, narrow, low volume 2.0 tire.
I'm in search of *the* rear tire for this bike.
Thoughts on a Nobby Nic front with the Maxxis Icon EXO 2.2 rear? I'll not be riding in super muddy or sloppy conditions and mostly XC/mild single track...
I haven't run that combo but the Nobby Nic (NoNi) sounds like a great option if you want something a bit more aggressive up front. If things are pretty dry and aren't too loose, you may be a bit overgunned with the NoNi up front unless you really like to throw the bike around. Plenty of options for the rear depending on whether you're racing or trail riding (Ikon, Racing Ralph, Rocket Ron, XDX, Race King, etc.). I'll stick with my Ikon front and rear. If I need a bit more up front I'd look at the NoNi.
