I'll be pulling the trigger in a few weeks and have been researching the Vamoots, Vamoots CR and even the RSL. Anyone over 50 out there riding the RSL? I understand the custom concept of relaxing the angles but in my mind that would defeat the purpose of buying the RSL.
I compared the geometry of a 55cm RSL and CR and other than a much shorter (cause of the top tube angle?) seat tube, the RSL seemed pretty close to the CR. Having said that the wheelbase of the RSL is going to be shorter. Other differences seem to be the BB30 bottom bracket and the beefier head tube on a stock RSL. i.e. stuff would be stiffer.
I guess my question is the comfort of the RSL. I think my racing days are over but I want a sweet bike for the golden years. The RSL may be a bit much and I would therefore go with the CR.
Thanks,
