I have a late eighties/early nineties Moots Mountaineer I bought in Boulder years ago. The bottom bracket has Andy painted under the clear coat and the paint is Jackson Pollick type. Moots has verified that it was built for Andy Hampston. One of the employees was interested in trading a new frame for it, unfortunately that trade never materialized. The Moots is a very special bike with two sets of drop outs, special paint, and being Andy's actual bike who is the only American to win the Giro. Everything is operational. Just seeking opinions as it must have some value.
