For a second option: I had my VaMoots post coupled by Bilenky it is the best investment I have made in cycling yet. They did a good job but the welds certainly are NOT Moots quality (nobody’s are). I am sure the welds will hold together and I guess in the end that's all that matters. I would also recommend getting the external welded couplers the ones without the beauty ring.
I also had my frame/stem/seatpost titanium etched by Spectrum Powder Works, so the decals are indestructible; perfect for a travel S&S bike. Don’t skimp out at the last minute like me; buy the tube covers and TSA net?

If you get it done let me know I will give you tips to get your Moots in the box. Because of the breezer drop outs; Moots have to be packed a little different than the video shows the rear triangle is pretty wide.
I have two VaMoots a SL6/4 and the standard VaMoots 3/2.5 with couplers I can’t tell a difference between them while riding. Get the couplers you won’t regret them.
