Hillbilly posted previously about the upcoming EPS from Campagnolo, has anybody heard anything about availability? I was on the fence about getting the Shimano DI2 but I didn't want to give up my 11 speed, now I'm drooling with anticipation of the EPS system.

I would bet 6 months. New Super Record is to retail at $5300 for the group. I personally think Campy has put one of the final nails in their coffin - I hope I am wrong, I love Campy - but a $5300 gruppo? I'd wait a year, let any bugs work themselves out and prices will drop (to a much more reasonable $5,000).
I love the way Campy (the company) works and sticks to it's guns. At the same time, I cannot deal with Campy (the company) and the way it sticks to it's guns.
I won't go on about Campy - anyone who knows cycling and Campy knows the story. ...and this is a Moots forum.

I saw it on the team bike at the 2011 TdF. I did not like the look - FD and battery were way too bulky compared to Di2. Also Campy requires way too much maintenance compared to Evil S. While I can live with it for mech systems, it is not acceptable for electronic one for me.
