Planing on building and new wheel set for my wifes bike. I'm thinking of using either Dura Ace or King R45 hubs for the build. I'm leaning towards the Kings, but was wondering if any body has any input. Thanks.

Both are great hubs. I have a couple of sets of the R45's and am very pleased with them.....typical King quality.
Both can build up a very strong wheel since the flanges are about as wide as you can get, not that I am suggesting your wife needs that attribute :-) DA has the old-school loose ball bearings which are a proven, bullet-proof design. The King's are great too with their newer design and as you know, are a breeze to clean and lubricate in a few minutes. You can get more color choices with King if that matters to you and more spoke count choices. One nice feature about the DA hub is they usually come with their skewers which are the gold standard of skewers as long as you aren't worried about a few extra grams. I have King's and I went out and paid $120 for the DA skewers which would have been free otherwise.
Went with the R45's this year....the next choice was the D/A....The kings now have about 2000 miles on them....so smooth, less drag than the mountain version for sure....
Give the Kings a try!
