Jon,
Can you offer some insight to the internal wiring option? You mentioned in a previous post that it was only offered on a new frame build and not as a retrofit. Is it because of internal cable channels?
Thx,
D.

I want to take the high road here, but you seem to ask questions for the sake of asking questions. I mean (and I'm being nice), but THINK...!
I don't know if Moots uses internal cable guides. I would bet 'no' on it. BUT, you don't retrofit an internal for an external system and vise versa. Cable guides, re-enforced, welded 'holes', gigs, machining, and 'drilling' holes on a frame is much more time, work and effort on a frame - than a tube. It's an entirely different set of prints ans an amazing, uh, headache.
Your cross fork question of one hole or three holes? - think! - you just cost Moots a hundred thousand dollars to make a different mold. It doesn't work like that. You're a Project Engineer - think!
I'm just cranky maybe - but c'mon.....think!
Dom,
We don't use internal "channels", so it comes down to investing a huge amount of time into a frame, that in the end won't be as clean as a new frame. We just don't want to have that type of work out their in the world. Build principals.
Thanks,
Jon@Moots
There is no such thing as a bad question, and I don't want to come off as a meeny, but c'mon.....
These are very, very hand built frames - and to turn one into another totally different hand build frame, whew.
Thanks Jon.
