Thinking of getting a black face plate for a open road stem, but i have 2 questions
1. Would the RSL face plate work on the open road stem?
2. What is the weight difference between the RSL and open road face plate?

Yes, the RSL face plate works on the Open Road stem....bolt pattern is the same.
Weight difference is minimal at 8grams. The entire package is where the big difference comes in at 36grams....156grams for the Open Road, 120 grams for the RSL.....about 25% savings.
