Bo-Ti, don't even bother bringing a bike, we are in the biggest snowstorm we've seen all year. 34 inches on the mountain yesterday!! It seems unbelievable, but trust me it was waist deep on the mountain. Real "face shots", choaking on snow during turns. I hit my favorite lines and could not turn, just pointed the boards straight down the hill and held my poles out of the way. We broke a record set in'96 for the most eversnowfall on one single day.The sun broke out yesterday afternoon for a bit, and then it started snowing again. 9 inches overnight, and I had 7 more in my driveway after work today. The snow riding (bike) will be far too soft to really enjoy, and if noone has packed out the trails on Emerald, they will be buried under 40+ inches of new snow.
My advice is to hit the mountain on Sunday, or hike up Emerald on xc skiis or snowshoes if our new $105 lift ticket turns you off.
