Thanks. Yes choosing to go new would be the easiest route (and although it would give me total choice that can also be a complication at times). I have some time before I need to have the bike ready for action. I've got some more work to do on this project before I'm clear in my own mind about what the full range of options are and what really is the best way to go for an S & S frame.
For a Moots coupler frame it seems I can go stock or custom and get couplers added. As I'm only 5' 9 1/2" tall I feel I'm not quite tall enough to benefit from a Mooto X. (too much of a bike for me, especially with the high front end and very chunky tires) I'm looking more at a cross type frame or something in that generalish style if I go custom.
How much is a stock cross with couplers? I can't see any prices on this site.
