I am ordering a Enve road fork (45mm rake) for my 60cm Moots Vamoots. Replacing my current Alpha Q-GS 40 (44mm rake).
Question 1- which size?
1.125" x 350mm
1.1/2" x 350mm
Question 2- which model 1.0 or 2.0?
Thank you.

Owen,
Did you check out the Moots forks? Really nice quality, with 3 rakes to match our frames.....just a thought:

If you do go the Enve route you will want the 1.125'' diameter steerer tube.
1.0 vs 2.0....that's up to you...the 1.0 is the lighter of the forks...really depends on rider weight and ride quality you are looking for.
Thanks,
Jon@Moots
Jon may confirm or correct me on this, but the Enve fork has a different axle to crown dimension than the Moots fork. Enve forks are 367 and the Moots forks are 370. I know it's a small difference, but it will change your geometry angles very, very slightly. I would assume the Moots geometry specs are based on the 370 Moots fork axle to crown.
Is that correct Jon?
Steve,
Correct, the Moots frames are based on 370mm a-c. But like you said 3mm is not much....however, it's better to go slightly slacker than steeper....in the end, it would be very difficult to feel the difference on that scale.
Thanks,
Jon@Moots
I'm thinking about going the same route: Vamoots + Enve 2.0 + Chris King.
If slacker would be better than steeper, you could install a Tall Chris King baseplate (+5mm), right?
That would increase the axle to crown to 372mm.
Don't know if it would look weird though.
From what I understand, that would indeed give you 372. The only thing that may look weird is if the top crown of the Enve fork is not finished because you will see a little bit of the top crown with the tall base plate since the actual crown race is now 5mm above the top of the fork. I know that on my Moots fork, the fork color does not go onto that top surface, so you would see a little of the flat black carbon color showing if you really looked. Then again, you wouldn't use it with the Moots fork. But with the Enve fork, you probably wouldn't notice since it's all black. I thought about an Enve when I bought my Vamoots but decided on the Moots fork since that is the dimension they designed the geometry to. And when all's said and done, it really looks great on the bike and it handles fantastic. It's a really nice fork and it comes with an excellent compression plug. Plus you get 2 more gators (actually 3 if you count the top cap) and you can never have enough gators.
