What kind of skewers do people like to use? The dropouts are so beautiful on my Psychlo, I want a cool pair of skewers to coordinate. Too bad King doesn't make some sort of coordinating skewer to go with their hubs. I bet they would sell quite a few.

    Thanks, Dave

Thanks. I'm leaning that way. And spending way too much time thinking about skewers.

Salsa skewers are nice since they are available in a rainbow of colors and they work well.

I've been running Mavic skewers that lock like a vice and work really, really well.

If you go Salsa, unless you're a lightweight, I'd forgo the Ti ones. Only a 5g savings and with all the torquing a Psychlo could (and should) see, the SS ones would give a bit "stiffer" ride.

I'm currently using some controltech race light ones. They've got the allen key style bolts, It does make take longer to take a wheel off, but the only reason I do that is for cleaning these days.

I've got a set of the Slasa's too, they are well made and I'd give them a thumbs up too.

    Cat3,

I have tried almost all skewers out there; everytime I end up coming back to Shimano. XTR for Mountain and Dura Ace for Road. The worst I ever used was Syncros Ti skewer it bent on the first install. I know for some Shimano is a bad word but they just make the best skewers IMHO.

For a second option I like Mavic Ksyrium (Road) CrossMax (Mountain).

I have never tired the DT Swiss but they seem interesting they way the lock.

I never really like the Salsa Skewers the handle just seem to large for what it does.
