Ok I love my Moots Compact. It is silly perfect for me. The ride is fantastic in every way. That said the RSL is giving me those sleepy , slutty eyes. Like "come on big boy it's party time."
So the question is what should I expect? Just more of what I already love in the Compact? Or something just leaps and bounds above?
From a weight perspective the Compact currently hits the scales with pedals 16.64.

I love the classic-ness of my vamoots, but I saw the RSL for the first time this weekend, and it was SIIIIIIIICCCCCCKKKKKK!!! Unbelievable. Here's my 2c - the vamoots and compact are awesome, classic, handbuilt ti bikes. The RSL competes directly with all of the hi-zoot, super techy stuff on the market and kills them. Really beautiful with the new tube shaping.
I did notice that when it comes to the RSL, I prefer the welded on ti seat binder as opposed to the annodized alu seat collar on the RSL. At least the psychlo x RSL had a seat collar. The welded on seat binder was a bit cleaner. IMHO.
Hard to beat the classic moots!
