The part of my cyclo rims that interacts with brake pads takes a beating with the stuff from the trail/road, not to mention bike gunk. How should I clean the rim? My German bud that I respect says use acetone or paint lacquer. Others say use fine steel wool, though that makes me less confident. Thoughts? Thanks.
