Hey guys, what does everyone do to protect the area right below the seat collar from cable rub? My rear derailleur housing rubs right there since it moves with the suspension. I've put those Sram rubber boots around the housing and they lasted a few weeks. Any kind of stick on thing will get rubbed through pretty quickly as well. What would be ideal would be some kind of plastic that snaps around the seattube. Any of you guys engineered something?

MemberI always use Scotchgard™ Paint Protection Film Solutions - 3M.com It is what is used in clear bra film and what veloskin uses in their kits. It is easy to cut and apply, clear, and extremely strong and impact resistant. I usually purchase a couple square feet from auto body shops.
