I have a pair of Dugast and a pair of FMB and I was wondering if I should apply a coat of tentsure to the tires before mounting them. They come pretreated but is it customary to apply a second coat as a preventative measure?

I'm sure the FMB's come pre-treated, but pretty sure the Dugast do not....Treat the Dugast with the tentsure before mountain....a nice coat from tread to base tape, and go just a mm or two onto the base tape....then when gluing take the glue right to the edge of the tape......good coverage for sure.
