Just received my new CR! It feels like Christmas in September!

What's everyone using to clean their Moots? I've used Pedros Bike Lust in the past....worried that it may harm the decals. Should I be?

I use Lemon Pledge, which is what Moots uses as well. Watch the factory tour video at around 7:50:

I find that Bike Lust works best on clear-coated/painted finishes.

I still cant find pledge here, so I'm using "Prolink". Not sure if its Moots approved, but puts a really nice semi-gloss sheen on it.

I'm 8 months in, no scratches to report (tho do have a little cable rub on the seat tube).

I use Pedros Bike Lust all the time on my Cinco. Works fine and my decals are not any worse for the wear. Well, not from the Bike Lust, but it is a mountain bike for crying out loud...

Been using diluted Simple Green forever. Cheap, biodegradable and works well.

I ride mine in the rain, nice and clean when I'm done my ride plus I get a free shower!

When you mentioned Pedro's Bike Lust, I was thinking of a polish, not a cleaner. Lemon Pledge is really for giving the ti an even luster. For cleaning, any mild detergent is fine and shouldn't harm the decals. Simple Green is great stuff, esp to remove grease, but make sure it's well diluted and that you wash it off well.

I use pledge unless its nasty then I use a hose and Pedro’s bike wash followed up by pledge. One word of caution if you use pledge!!! If you get any on your braking surfaces (rims for road or disks for mountain) use acetone (fingernail polish remover) to clean the brake surfaces. Don't get any acetone on your decals. Pledge is super slippery and will degrade your brakes efficiency and can cause loss of control. I know from experience Colorado has some of the best descents in the country but you better have good brakes.

I wash my Gristle with trail dust and sunshine. You guys wash your Moots?
