Who makes a nice one? Needs to be able to clear a CK headset and have a long drop and barrel adjuster.
Also, is the rear brake cable stop on the PX threaded for a barrel adjuster?
Tanks!

What you want is a Carbon cable hanger, absolutely brilliant no more brake shudder problems just smooth braking with lots of feel and can be set up for plenty of power too.
Focus supply them on their high end cross racers and not sure whether they are freely available but they should be cos nobody would need to worry about notorious Canti brake problems again.
I have a picture of one on my Psychlo-x but don't know how to upload the pictures, if anyone can advise then i think it would be good for all to see. One of these babies should be on all cross racers.
When i got my Psychlo-x the one spoiler was the Canti brakes and i am sure we all know to well about the difficulty of setting up Canti brakes.
With modern forks (I have Edge) and a Carbon hanger all my brake woes are well and truly sorted, now i use the Psychlo-x for everything commute, road and light trail it is just the best bike ever i would never buy anything else except maybe a Psychlo-x RSL.
Just make sure it is attached to the fork and not up at the headset. I've read that will significantly reduce chatter.
thx Dave, I will look into a carbon hanger. Mark, edge/enve cx fork doesn't have a hole for cable hanger.

All,
I'm kind of partial to the IRD long drop hanger...super solid and clean lines. It does not come with a barrel adjusters, but QBP makes a "problem solver" version that does have one.
Cheers,

cool beans, thx Jon.
how they treatin' ya in Austin?
Here is the article I read. It is pretty thorough on the subject of brake chatter. Having a quality fork that is stiff will help if you can't lower the hanger.
I have tried a bunch and so far the winner is an ebay purchased one that was built by a guy making them for Bart Wellens. It's super simple and has a ridiculous drop and a built in adjuster. The finish is simple but it works well (its not as bling as the gold version Bart has run in the past!). I recall seeing photos on some of the forums. A little something for the europhiles in all of us!
I followed Jon's advice and got an IRD.
Tailgator bag showed up today, very nice.
