My new Vamoots RSL, RSL stem and layback cinch post are finally on the way to my local bike shop, Above Category in Mill Valley. They shipped today. I can hardly wait!

From your post you seem like a tall fellow. Maybe a 61CM RSL? Best of luck with the RSL it's a sweet ride.
Congratulations! What kind of build do you have planned?
I'm still waiting for my 58cm RSL.... Reading this post makes me jealous.
Drdontom,
Lucky it's not my size, I would stage a hold up on every brown truck from SteamBoat to Mill Valley in search of the prize in the Moots box. Congrats I am jealous too.

Can't wait! They said 6 to 8 weeks and it shipped a few days shy of 7 weeks.
Along with the Moots titanium seatpost and stem, I am planning on Campagnolo Super Record, Campagnolo Shamal Ultra wheels, Hutchinson Fusion 3 tubeless tires, Deda Zero100 bar, Fizik Antares carbon saddle, Chris King and Speedplay pedals.
How are you going to resolve the Campagnolo - press fit 30 issue?
TS...
Campy produces a Press Fit BB30 adapter cup that is available through QBP, by an bike shop. They fit great and allow you to run a full Campy groupo.
Thanks,
Jon@Moots
Thanks Jon.
drdontoms build is raising another question. He is planning a Fizik Antares carbon saddle. The rails of Fiziks carbon saddles are increased to 9mm in the middle part, though. Will those rails fit into the rail groove of the Moots seat post which is designed for 7mm?
Sorry if this has been discussed before.
TS--
Anything other than a round 7mm rail will not work with the Cinch post.
We may in the future have something that will accomodate the larger-non-round rails, but nothing coming soon.
Thanks,
Jon@Moots
Those adapters weren't available when I built up my RSL, but I've been very happy with the SiSL crank with my 11v setup. I'd be curious to hear how the Campy adapters work with a ti PF BB30 bottom bracket (since avoiding metal-to-metal contact was one of the reasons given for going with the PF BB30 standard).
(Oops, thought this was a MootoX RSL thread, not sure how to move/delete it)
I am building a 2011 Moots MootoX RSL this week.
3-page initial coverage, along with hi-res image gallery of the frameset:

Will be using 26 X 38 Shimano XTR. I'm told that 28 X 40 just *barely* clears and is not advised, and I want the lower gearing anyway for rides like the Trek to the Summit of White Mountain Peak:
