I have had an RSL (road) for 6 months and when doing some maintenance I noticed about two cups of water in the frame. I have 1,500 miles on it and I ride in basically dry conditions in Denver. A few rain rides, puddles, sprinklers and the regular washing are all the water I encounter. I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this situation? I have never had that type of accumulation in a frame before. The plugs are in the end of the chain stays. I have locktite on the water bottle bolts and washers on the cages. I noticed a creak in the headset that I original thought was from the bottom bracket so I repacked the BB bearings then the headset. I have an FSA PF30 BB and Chris King No Threadset. They both looked OK but not packed very well, they are packed good now. I have a Moots seat post that fits correctly but now I added one of those nerdy Fizik rubber collars above the seat tube clamp and greased the seat post real well. My stem is slammed and I don't like the interface between the stem and headset and I'm thinking that could be it? Possibly water sitting on top of the headset and draining down the outside of the steer tube? I'm sort of freaked out by the amount of water in the frame.
