I love my MX RSL and wouldn't change a thing. I know the Moots crew is always pushing their designs forward but I've found myself wondering why the second bend in the tubing when approaching the bottom bracket. Bike Rumor mentions this should lead to added lateral stiffness. Any chance we can get a bit more explanation from you guys? Without looking at any of the specs I'd expect the opposite. Thoughts?

I absolutely love my MX RSL w/sliders too. Wouldn't change a thing as it is better than I even imagined (coming from a rigormootis slider). However my wife is absolutely gaga over the double bend down tube. She wants the bent top tube combined with the double bend downtube for her "dream" moots.
I'm curious about the increase in lateral stiffness too. I'm not getting any noticeable adverse flex out of my RSL running an SS setup (notorious for pointing out flexy bb/chainstays).
Either way, I am digging the mtb revamps and the new PsychloX RSL. Well done MOOTS!

I've only seen the one spy shot of the Psychlo-X RSL on Bike Rumor and DAMN is that thing good lookin'! I can't wait until someone gets us some detailed shots. And, even though I was a bit chaffed that Moots pulled the plug on the Cinco, I'm liking the changes. Change for change's sake isn't the right thing to do, but changes that promote performance gains are good things.

Yes, the New MX RSL has a double curve down tube. The upper curve for fork clearance as per the first MX RSL version and.. the lower curve for a couple of reasons. First it brings the lower bottle mount closer to hand by a touch and number two is, well....looks to be frank. We've been busy curving/bending some BIG diameter tubing these days as you can see on the Divides.Web updates coming....
