Moots just announced their MX Divide on facebook. Here's what they said: "Moots 2012 MX Divide...the details...100mm (4'') travel front & rear, Inset 44mm oversized head tube, Press Fit BB30, Oversized tubeset throughout, Single pivot design collaboration with the Sotto Group. Ti seat stays, AL chainstays. Curved DT for fork clearance. Fox Kashima shock, Carbon swing link... The 19'' size pictured came in at 24.5 pounds. Shipping April 2012."

Wondering how that single pivot actually works. The Sotto group are the same people who helped develop the Yeti SB-66 suspension. Looks sexy.

Yeah, way overdue for JonC to chime in on this bike. Is this a 29er or 26er?

The Divide will be in two wheel sizes. 26= Divide, Divide MX=29er. The bike shown is the 29 version. More to come next week as the site gets updates to everything 2012.

That is sexy, anything carbon can do Ti can do better. At first glance it reminds me of a cross between my beloved Mootaineer and the Smoothie. My next bike was going to be a Mooto-X but now I am on the fence, the Divide MX is tempting.

Alas I still have to get the Mooto-X because I need the couplers. I am sure Moots will sell a boat load of the Divide MX.

Just on the carbon thing ... the description reads "Carbon swing link" ... so it looks like the Divide will have some CF on it.

Will a carbon rear triangle be far away ? Whats next ... Oooooo the suspense! :)

I was first in line !
Place my order more than a month ago.
I have 2 on order now !
Moots bikes are too good to be true.

the MXZ is the best bike I have ever had beyond my Seven Duo, Specialized, Ellsworth and so on.

this weekend should give a try to my MX RSL 2012 I have 3 of them

don't ask why !

I have to ask why anyone would need 3 of the same moots. I have multiple Moots but no two are the same model or size.

Nothing wrong with having 3 of the same Moots....A race bike, B backup bike, C training bike....oh wait, that's for Cyclocross...you could do the same for mountain I suppose.

Jon I guess if I was 7th in the national cross rankings (45-49) I would need 3x of the same Moots too. Till then I just have to figure out a way to add another different model to my garage.

Thanks for the ranking check....need to find a way to Madison at this point. Just over 4 weeks to go!

Back to the question of price....the MX Divide will be going for $ 4995.00 for the frame and rear Fox Kashima shock.

Hi Hkflyer,

Ordered my MX Divide a week or so ago too...wait is also killing me. I've got a Mooto X RSL arriving in the interim (shipping this week I beleive) so that should help the wait for the Divide. These will be my first moots frames and I'm really looking forward to joinin the Moots family.
