Steve,
Should not be an issue. I would use Ti-Prep for sure and service (remove) the Phil BB a couple times a year to re-up the Ti-Prep.

Always have a soft spot in my heart for anything Phil Wood....had a set of BMX hubs waaaay back in the day...early 80's!

Jon,

Is there any problem using a Phil Wood Outboard Bottom Bracket in a Vamoots? I ask because it is stainless as opposed to AL like most of the Kings. I didn't know if stainless and Ti cause an issue.

http://www.philwood.com/products/bbpages/outboard.php

And would you recommend Ti-Prep or a good grease (like Phil grease) on the BB threads if it is stainless?

Thanks
