After looking through the pics on the TD forum I can see why....steep side-hike-a-bike sections in the snow....ouch.</p> <p>Hopfully he can rally and keep moving....however a "W" is now gone.</p> <p>Erik trained his legs off for this event and I had him (in my mind) as going for the win this year. All of my clothes including my down coat and sleeping bag were ringing wet. I had the worst night of my life - shaking so bad. In the morning I loaded my gear up and tried to ride, but I was shaking so bad I knew it wasn't a smart move. It was snowing hard and I had to go over a 5 mile snow hike-a-bike to get to the top of the pass so I made a decision to drop out.
