I have the Kore canti's on my cross bike. They're fine, but I'd swap the stock pads out. They don't seem to want to stop very well. I've sanded the surface down a little bit and they still don't stop well. I feel like they're getting good grab on the rim, but just not enough friction to stop quickly.

Take a look at the Avid shorty ultimate canti's. Great stopping power and nice bling on the black pair.

Kam,
I can speak to TRP brakes...I have had good success with them...easy to replace the pad and make the fine tune adjustments from wheel set to wheel set with the barrel adjuster. The one thing I don't like about them is the stock pad compound....they eat rims! Went to the green SwissStop pad and have a much better feel. The TRP are similar in style as the 4ZA's....

Chris King bb....I've had one in my mountain bike for 2 seasons and just like their headsets....smooth as butter after rain, streams etc....well worth the $$.

Have a great time rebuilding the Psychlo!

Hello all.

My psychlo is 5 years old been bounced from pillar to post so finally giving it a well earned overhaul. The brake system need as always needs replacing due wear which means they cant be tightened up and so cause that squeeling

So have got hold of some kore cantilevers to go on it. I have had frogs legs and 4ZA's on there in the past. Just want to know who is using what and why. I cant see any real difference in stopping power between any of them and this psychlo has been put through its paces in lots of different situations (road cross and trail)

another addition to this bike is a chris king bottom bracket (early christmas present :-) ) anybody have any experience of these? I am hoping it is like the headsets and are pretty much there for life.

cheers
Kamkam
