You will get the result you want if you buy some sand papers. There is different grades of them, buy some 800 or 1000 to start and you can go as far of 3000 (miror like). Visit your local car body repair they have some, their first tool may be.&#60;/p&#62;

Not sure of the exact model number we are using at Moots, as I'm on the road at the moment.  &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;....ours is a red color....but anything labeled Scotch Brite will work.&#60;/p&#62;

Basically I have really light surface scratches (above the &#34;non-finished&#34; area) on the bottom half of the post but just enough to be seen when installed.&#60;/p&#62;
