I've got an old(er) SciCon padded case with the internal frame - the model before they built it allowing the bars to stay on straight and it is brilliant. Although one of the wheels is broken and they will only replace ALL 4 of them !!!

Oh well (shrug) it is still a brilliant bag.

Thx Jon for the 'stickers' tip, I was all set to slap a couple of Moots stickers on there but now I'm guessing maybe not.

Dom,
Good choice...we have been using the Tri-All 3 cases for years and have had very good luck with them....the airlines of course love to see you coming to the desk with that...(hint here, no bike stickers and "it's a display for work"...sometimes this works ;)....

Once you get the packing "system" down it takes maybe 15 minutes....and it's super safe.

Good luck,

I stopped by my LBS and talked with Scott @ Evolution, he uses Tri-All 3 cases for his bikes. After seeing these in person I pulled the trigger on the spot and ordered one for myself.

I have an older version of the SciCon hard case and it is great. The newer one is even better, but alas even more $$ than what I paid for mine. I have seen the Bkind case at a LBS and it looked like it should work well and is much more compact when not in use (which might be useful depending on storage where you're staying).

Howdy,

I'm heading back down to Buenos Aires soon to visit relatives again and I'd like to take my PX with me this time. I've been eyeballing the 'Tri All 3' brand but not sure if they make the best. Any advice (other than retrofitting S&S couplers)?
Thx.

D.

PS. Would be great if I could find something that will also hold 2 sets of wheels.
