Oh yeah I forgot they were on the "O" now. Mine are all "M" so that threw me off. Your right the number (0) and letter (O) look the same. As an engineer, I always strike my Zero's so they are NOT confused on important calculations.

Satellite,
It isn't a 7-digit number. The 53 is the frame size, the next digit is an O not a zero. The first 10,000 frames Moots ever made had an M here. The "1030" means it is the 10,000th + 1030th frame Moots has ever built. After they build 8970 more frames, they will go to a "T" and ultimately spell the word "MOTS".

Stiles923,
Thanks for the info. Yep, looked it up and see the numbers. With your top tube lenght and foot size, you will get toe overlap at slow speeds and stop lights if you are trying to track stand. Other than those times you should be fine.

let me know if you have any other questions.

many thanks,

JonC,
Thanks for your response!!

I had a custom build so if i get you the serial number you could look up?

Shoe size is 44.5
I would say I'm a toe up pedaling. Def in slower speed situations. I'm super conscious of it right now since I did go down once. (bike is ok! :) )

Stiles923,
Toe overlap varies depending on size of frame, fork offset, cleat placement and pedaling habits....a couple of questions:

what size frame are you on?
Shoe size?
fork Offset?

Toe down or toe up pedaling habits?

Does this only happen at slow (parking lot) speeds?

Give me a little insight if you could...

Thanks,

Let me first say that I do love my new Vamoots!! It rides like a dream. My only complaint is toe overlap. In my case it is approx. 2". I'm sure this varies from build to build, but is this a typical amount?
