Both work awesome. I was told the 42x30 (M-985) model would not work with the 2011 MXYBB because the 30-tooth chain ring would hit the chain stay. Again, my frame is an MXYBB not an RSL. Maybe the bigger setup will work with the MXRSL since it has thinned out chain stays.
