Traveled on Sunday, then got after it on Monday.</p> <p>Rode Moore Fun/Mack Ridge/Troy Built on Monday. Man, I LOVE that combo. Techy stuff, but not so much that you're having to push your bike a lot. Got a nice cut right in the middle of my tread of my rear tire. Buying tires at Fruita prices will make you a broke rider quickly.</p> <p>Blasted over to Moab and rode Gemini Bridges/Gold Bar Rim/Portal on Tuesday. Another fantastic ride with some CRAZY exposure. If you've never done this ride, I highly recommend it.</p> <p>Rode Holy Cross in the "Lunch Loops" area in Grand Junction on Wednesday AM. This trail is probably one of my top 3 trails of all time. I just wish it was about 5X longer.</p> <p>Went up to 18 Road on Wednesday afternoon for a session on Joes/Zippity/Kessels Run. Keep your hands and arms inside the roller coaster at all times! </p> <p>Slept (tried) through a hurricane/monsoon on Wednesday night, packed up on Thursday AM and hit the road. I can drive to the bottom of Nicene marks in less than half an hour and yesterday's 38 mile circumnavigation could have included another loop of the top to include Tractor or Braille without killing me. They really are the best trails I've ever been on, but I've got to get my groove back. I ride past the place on my road bike about once a month, so it's not like I've forgotten about the place.</p> <p>I suspect that the recent monsoons have accentuated the rocky sections, or it could just be I'm rusty. One night at NFDesert(18rd) rode twice up there. Prime Cut, Kestle Run,Chutes and Ladders, Zippidy, west Zip, and Joe's. Then we moved camp to Highline SP, and rode out at Rabbit Valley. Zion Curtain Western Rim and the #2 trail. Plus a shortie at Mary's onto Horsethief, and Steve's.<br /> Great riding, I almost forgot how snowed in my front yard still is.
