You are correct...the tape when removed will not remove the bead blast finish on the frame.  Our finish undergoes a similar process as a sand blast, however we use a different material to get our smooth satin finish.&#60;/p&#62;

&#60;p&#62;Is the finish on my Vamoots considered a &#34;surface applied&#34; finish (like paint is surface applied) or does it actually alter the surface of the tubes like a sand blasting?&#60;br /&#62;
I'm about to put some clear protective tape on a few areas (where the pump hits the top tube, etc) and was curious if pulling off the clear tape at some point could actually pull off the finish. I assumed that the blasted finish was similar to a sand blasting (meaning NOT a surface applied treatment like paint) and was there for good unless you scratch it, scuff it, etc. Am I correct about that?&#60;/p&#62;
