On the Vamoots RSL the tubing is butted...therefore no couplers there...on the PX RSL same, plus the shaped top tube will not allow.</p> <p>MX RSL....yes, the couplers are an option. The top &amp; down tube on the MX RSL are not butted due to impact and denting on the much thinner tubes. The seat tube in butted and the top and down tube are thinner straight gauge (non-butted) tubes. That's maximum airline size 62" liear inches total. (26+26+10) 29er rims have a diameter of approximately 24.5" (622 mm)[3] and the average 29" mountain bike tire has an outside diameter of about 29.15" (740mm). So as you can see it would typically take removing your tire or being able to get it really flat after totally deflating it. As the owner of a Psychlo-Tour (only one I know of) I can tell you running 700x32 Schwalbe marathon supreme's darn near as totaly deflated as I can get them is a tight fit. They are much lower profile tires than a normal 29er tire. I would imagine if you got flexible bead tires you could remove them; fold them up and re-install on the far end. I have a raging head cold that I don''t want to aggravate right before my trip to Argentina so I was going to keep it short and sweet, somewhere around 25-30 miles or so, more of a shakedown to work out the kinks and tweek her a bit than anything else. I was SO jazzed with the way she rode that I wound up doing 50. I was gonna keep going but I was beginning to run out of daylight and traffic around here can sometimes be a bitch when it starts getting dark so I reluctantly cut it short and turned around to head back home. The one thing that kept popping into my mind while riding was 'Damn if this bike don't ride like a dream!". I can't remember the last time I was this comfortable on a bike. Hats off to the crew at Moots for a kickass job building my new whip AND to Scott at Evolution for setting her up 'perfectly'. I literally didn't have to adjust anything. I'm going out again tomorrow to squeeze in one more ride before my trip to see my grandparents. I'll post pics when I get back.</p> <p>Ciao baby! </p>
