Hi folks,
I'm new to the forum... just purchased a new to me Vamoots (currently headed back to CO for a fresh beadblast). It's a bike I've been dreaming about owning for awhile, so I'm super excited to get it built up and out on the road. My first Ti bike, so I'll probably be asking for a lot of advice as I start working on the build.

Anyways, I also have an older style clamp layback seatpost. It's even older than most that I've seen pictures of, it has two halves of a tube (aluminum i think), that is notched to hold the saddles rails. Looks like this:

https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-MtbyEFkvcEo/UGI1I8lKFvI/AAAAAAAABXg/MuFhGiuSdAI/s640/-1.jpg

So I'm hoping to replace the aluminum (?) clamping parts with the newer "old style" parts.

Does anyone have an extra pair lying around that I could buy? I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks!

wgp,
You will need call Moots with your serial number to track the year...from there we can give you geometry. We have the 2009, 2010, 2011 catalog links under "FAQS" in Our Bike page. This contains those years of geometry. Out side of that we can help on the phone.

http://moots.com/our-bike/

Your serial number is on the underside of the bb shell.

Thanks,

I have an older 59cm Vamoots and wanted to get the frame specs for my size - I can only find the newer specs for the more updated Vamoots geometry on the website. Anyone have a link to the older ones or will I have to call Moots directly? Much obliged if you can help.
