so given that the 2X outer ring position is a bit further out that the middle of a 3X, but not as far out as a 3X outer, a 36 may clear. I really need to find these cranks in town and do a test fit.

currently running m960 cranks. 34t ring is close to the chainstay, but just clears. I want to go 36t in the front for more chain wrap.

I'm looking @ m785 XT 2x cranks and wondering if I'll have the clearance w/ a 36t ring. Any thoughts?

Other option is to use the outer holes on a 3x, but the m785s are pretty sexy.

Rob,
I posted the Divide and MX Divide Tech sheet today....you can find all the info here:

http://moots.com/wp-content/uploads/MX-DIVIDE.pdf

Your frame is all set from the factory....after several rides check over the bolts and make sure they are staying at those specs.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks,

Rob,
Stay with the Fox set up that it came with. No need to have it PUSHED. Through the design of the suspension system the Fox shock that it came with has been used to maximize stroke and set up for the Divides. Changing the internals at PUSH will alter the desired performance of the linkage system.

Thanks for asking!

...only ridden it around the back garden (!!)- just finished building it...will let you know.

The build quality is incredible BTW worth every $ spent on it...

I was thinking of having the shock PUSHED/custom tuned. Will this do strange things to the warranty (I know some builders don't like third parties tampering with shock dynamics)?

Would it be possible for you guys to post up some torque specs for the Divides (pivots)?

Also will you be adding replaceable dropouts to the shop for the Divides. Got a couple of longer rides/races planned and it would be great to be able to carry a spare.

didier,
No, we did not plan on releasing a new version for a while.

I can tell you it is being looked at for 2013. No solid date for completion at this time....I'll post when there is a time line.

Thanks,
